Audit Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements for clients across sectors.

• Perform substantive testing and analytical review of financial statements, documents, and internal controls.

• Identify areas of risk, evaluate internal control systems, and recommend improvements.

• Conduct vouching, verification, ledger scrutiny, and variance analysis.

• Prepare working papers, audit documentation, and draft audit reports in accordance with applicable standards.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely audit deliverables.

• Maintain professional knowledge of auditing practices, regulatory updates, and industry changes, GST.

• Assist clients in implementing audit recommendations and strengthening financial discipline.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting.

• Proficient in MS Excel, accounting tools, and audit software.

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining accuracy and integrity.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Strong work ethic, confidentiality, and commitment to professional ethics.
