Job Summary:

We are looking for a Finance Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our building materials business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, compliance, and ensuring financial stability to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Accounting & Compliance: Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Cost Control & Profitability: Monitor cost structures, margins, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage working capital, monitor receivables/payables, and ensure liquidity.
• Taxation & Audits: Ensure timely filing of GST, VAT, income tax and coordinate audits.
• Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, and P&L management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or equivalent).
• Excellent knowledge of tax regulations, financial compliance, and reporting standards.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
