Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our jewelry business. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and risk management within the jewelry sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Oversee the company’s financial performance, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and implement robust financial policies and controls.
• Prepare financial statements, profit & loss reports, and balance sheets.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process to optimize financial resources.
• Monitor expenses, inventory costs, and profitability of jewelry sales.
• Implement cost control measures to maximize profit margins.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with GST, VAT, and other tax regulations applicable to the jewelry industry.
• Handle audits, statutory compliance, and liaise with tax authorities.
• Manage financial risks, fraud detection, and regulatory requirements.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

• Maintain efficient cash flow management and oversee banking transactions.
• Handle vendor payments, customer credit control, and financial reconciliations.
• Optimize working capital and inventory financing strategies.

Strategic Financial Planning:

• Provide insights for business growth and investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior management to align financial goals with business strategies.
• Analyze pricing, sales trends, and market fluctuations in the jewelry sector.

Key Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of experience in the jewelry industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory valuation, pricing strategies, and cost management in jewelry businesses.
• Expertise in taxation, compliance, and financial regulations for the jewelry industry.
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other financial ERP software.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
