We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts & Audit Assistant to support our accounting and auditing functions. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting internal and external audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
-
Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
-
Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare trial balances.
-
Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
-
Ensure timely payment of taxes and statutory dues such as TDS, GST, and PF.
-
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
-
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Audit Duties:
-
Support internal and statutory audit processes.
-
Prepare audit schedules and gather supporting documentation.
-
Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
-
Identify and report audit findings and discrepancies to management.
-
Assist in implementing audit recommendations and internal control improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter preferred).
-
1–3 years of experience in accounting and/or audit roles.
-
Good understanding of accounting principles, GST, and Income Tax.
-
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel.
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
